The guests at Cookout at the Ranch XI have spoken. The winner of A Peek at the Peak's (The Peak) Summer Fun Photograph contest is "A Place to Fly" by Dale Howard. "Call It A Day" by Frank Biondo came in second in the voting and Kathy Howard's "Peak Promised" finished third. Entrants were asked to photograph "what's worth preserving in our community" and the photographs had to be taken in The Peak's distribution area, which includes North Scottsdale, Carefree, Cave Creek, northeast Phoenix, and the Verdes.
We thank all the entrants and the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale, and the Fairmont Princess for their support. Start planning next summer's shots.

We thank the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale and the Fairmont Princess for their generosity and continuing support. The award for 1st place was a two-night stay in luxurious casita guestroom accommodations and dinner for two in Crescent Moon, Four Seasons Scottsdale’s American “Sonoran” Kitchen featuring traditional foods influenced by the flavors of the Sonoran Desert. The resort features unparalleled views of the desert and the city below, an award-winning spa, lagoon-style pool with complimentary poolside cabanas, golf at Troon North, hiking at nearby Pinnacle Peak, and other amenities.
The 2nd place prize was a delightful dinner for four at the Fairmont Princess’s La Hacienda restaurant. Rated AAA 4 Diamond, it is the resort’s gourmet Mexican restaurant. The ambiance and decor at this turn of the century Mexican ranch house is surpassed only by the culinary specialties from old colonial Mexico.
The 3rd place winner has received a movie gift card for $25 in admissions and/or concession fare.
